Challenges

Handling push notification for multiple users in a real time:

Problem: Once a job is created by a business user, there is a need to send push notifications to all the locum users who match to their job criteria and to manage sending the push notifications to multiple users was not easy.

Solution: When there are less users that match to any job criteria, it's easy to manage but when the numbers are in the hundreds or thousands, it is difficult to manage from the backend. Our developers solve this problem by using the background or cron jobs from the back end while creating a bunch of users and sending them notifications at once.

Manage job status:

Problem: To track the jobs with the status was a difficult one as there may be lots of status a job can have.

Solution: Our developers had managed it while assigning them with a number as 1 for a job creation, 2 for job offer and so on.
